Vote for Effie! (this is a book review despite the name)

ok so. Vote for Effie is the name of the book I'm going to be writing about today. This book is an amazing book about a girl who moves to a new middle school and she is loud, and proud! She is all about girl power, and the celebration of diversity. She meets some friends called Zo, Ruby, Jess, and Angelika and they help her run a committee because.....she runs for junior class president up against the coolest and most annoyingest boy in school. yeah. Not what you were expecting.

I loved the characters and I wish I could meet this author so I could discuss how she made the characters come to life so much. Another thing I loved was the friendship Effie and Zo had toward the end of the book which I did not expect.

I went through a tale of friendship, and suspense. And I hope you do too. This book I got from a book swap with a friend and I highly encourage them as they cost nothing and you get more books! Back to the book though. I thought this book had so much girl power, and had me hanging on right till the end. It was incredible! I hope I can count your 'vote' to read this astonishing book by Laura Wood. Ok puns aside, read this book! Why are you still reading this?
