Mopoke. Mopoke is a really funny book for kids. I will enclose a picture of the front cover. Mopoke loves peace and quiet. He finds out you cant get what you want! This book has an amazing author/illustrator (Philip Bunting) and the illustrations were very cute and funny. It was a shortlisted book in the children's book of the year awards. Be sure to check it out!
'Piranhas Don't eat bananas' is from the author of Pig the Pug, it's.... Aaron Blabey! You've probably heard of it because, you know, it's Aaron Blabey! hahaha! Brian loves fruit. Though his friends aren't happy with his fruit desire. no, not happy at all... I think this story is very funny and it shows a feeling of when you don't want to follow the normal. It is already bestselling, but it's still really good!
Zog. Zog is about a dragon who works very hard and is really keen to learn. but he doesn't seem to get a golden star. :( poor zog. But then he meets a girl who then helps him win a the best golden star! "My six-year-old loved it" - Evening Standard. this book is by the creators of the Gruffalo.... yes you guessed it! Julia Donaldson and Axel Schffler! This book has been made into a film which you can watch on the ABC kids app. Enjoy!
A little Stuck by Oliver Jeffers. The Illustrations. Just the Illustrations. They are amazing! Floyd gets his kite stuck in a tree. then he throws a cat, a ladder, a shoe. All stuck. Will he get his kite back? This is a very cute story and here is a quote for Stuck, "Brilliantly silly" - The Telegraph
The Highway Rat by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. This book was also made into a film which you can also watch on ABC kids. The highway rat is a greedy soul, because he steals food from the highway-the highway- but eventually a brave, clever, duck tries to get rid of him. Will her plan work? who knows. Is it dangerous? yes! Check out the film or book, but this is a must see story!
Kip. Now this is a story you might not have heard of. "As soon as Kip hatched, Mrs Bea new he was special. soon his golden fluff turned into strong, glossy feathers. He grew and he grew and he grew. Until one day with a shake of his collar and a puff of his chest..." Kip is special but the neibours do not think so! this book is sweet, happy, and it has a sense of belonging.
The Zoo. A lift the flap book. This is a playful book with lift the flaps. I love the Illustrations by Simona Dimitri! This is a Usborne book.
