Book : My Parents cancelled my birthday! by Jo Simmons

This book I got from a the same book swap that I got 'Vote for Effie' from. This is such a crazy book. I like that in a book but you might not so keep that in mind. You know when you get the feeling that your reading the words but not actually putting them to memory? well that happened to me a bit while reading but that might be me. Reply In the comments about if this happened to you too (i'm pretty sure that it has nothing to do with the book). This book starts with a pig falling off the roof. And flattening a dog (told you it was crazy!) Then follows by a curse of the tooth fairy so Tom's parents tell him his birthday is cancelled (sooo unreasonable) and Tom wants to have the best day ever! so with his friend's help he tries to make it a success (spoiler: it is a disaster!)

This book was written in first person which I really like in a book. The author is Jo Simmons and I will make sure to follow her on instagram (if she has an account) and let me know in the comments how you got on with this book.

lets remember to please support your bookshops as they just thought they were going out of an era when they have to go through it again and lets just say, It must be so hard for them (this sentence is mostly directed for victorians as they are going through a second lockdown).
